Gauteng is set to host the 2025 SANCF Selections Event, and excitement is in the air.

The event will be held at CityROCK and the newly established Friends and Allies in Johannesburg, featuring the climbing disciplines of Speed, Boulder, and Lead on Friday, March 7, Saturday, March 8, and Sunday, March 9, respectively.

While the main goal is to select the Junior Protea team (Youth B and Youth A) that will represent South Africa in Helsinki, Finland, later this year, the decision to include competitors from Youth C to Seniors allows climbers the opportunity to participate in more than one SANCF event this year.

We are pleased to announce that we have once again partnered with the local streaming platform, DiscoverSport.com, to live stream the event. Additionally, our in-house scoring platform, TopRock, will be utilized by all judges, along with the talented photographer, Danie from Surefooted Photography to capture every action packed moment!

The event brochure and booklet will be available for download this week and will be distributed to all provinces.
